Most standard cell lines will grow adequately in serum without pre-testing. Sera Lab customers can rely on our extensive experience and rigorous in-house testing regime enabling them to purchase with confidence serum products that meet their requirements.

Animal sera are subjected to use in an infinite variety of conditions within the biomedical field. In recognition of this and perhaps a customer's need to standardise procedures by using a single batch of serum throughout a series of experiments, we offer a batch reservation service.

Test samples representing particular batches are provided at no charge for customer evaluation whilst specifically reserving sufficient batch material for up to four weeks. Longer reserve periods can be arranged at the initiation of the reserve request. You may use our on-line form to request samples (you must be logged in to use the form).

On receipt of a decision to accept a reserve, a purchase order or written commitment to purchase the total amount of the reservation is required. This reservation will then be confirmed and the remaining batches returned to stock.

Sera Lab will store batches of reserved serum at -20°C for up to 6 months or a previously agreed period. Shipping can be arranged either on a standing order basis or on demand. Invoices raised against reserved stock will show any balances remaining.

Orders may be placed by telephone, post, fax or e-mail. When ordering please quote a valid order number and identify the products required by product description, catalogue number and batch number (if relevant).

Following receipt of a written order, the Sera Lab policy is to ship orders the same day although we prefer not to despatch on Thursday or Friday. Urgent telephone orders will be accepted provided an order number is given and a written order follows by post or e-mail.

We routinely use express carrier services to deliver our products.

Prices shown in our catalogue are FOB ex-works.

If you have been offered a quotation, please ensure that this is quoted on your order, otherwise goods will be charged at the normal catalogue price.
