Using this web site
These pages provide an on-line catalogue of Sera Lab products with the ability, if required, to place an order.
Registration is not a requirement for viewing this site. However, registration is required if you wish to place an on-line order, and does help us to to keep track of those interested in the Sera Lab product ranges. Registration is free and once the registration form is completed you are automatically logged in to the system and returned to the main site. At any time, once logged in, you can update your account information by selecting the Account Maintenance link from the left side menu.
To view our products select "Products" from the main menu, or use the Product Range menu, where the main product categories are displayed. Categories and sub-categories and products are displayed in the main content pane. For more information on a product, select that product name, where more information (if available) will be displayed. For many products there will also be a link to the relevant Datasheet. The datasheets are in pdf format, allowing you to view or print a copy. For each product selected there is a link to add the product to an order form. Where a product price is not shown, clicking on the "Enquire for prices" link will open your email client to enable you quickly to request current pricing information.
Placing an order is easy.
1. Select the first product you require, select the number/quantity required and "Add to Order". Products in your current order "basket" are then displayed. Here you can change the number ordered or delete a product by selecting the relevant update icon, "pen and paper" to change quantity or the "bin" to delete. Using the "Continue product selection" link enables you to return to the catalogue to select further products. At any point you can go direct to the current order basket by using the "View current order list" link in the main menu.
2. Once you have selected all your required items select the "Place your order" link. You are then able to edit your billing and/or delivery address if necessary. Select "Next" and then review your order. At this point you may add comments for our sales department, such as advise us not to ship until we receive an official order from your supplies dept. or to make a special request. Until this point no order has been placed - this does not occur until you select the "Confirm Order" button.
3. Once an order is confirmed, email confirmation is sent to you at your registered email address and a confirmation page is displayed. You should now select the link to view your order details and print a copy. Your order is displayed in full with a link to a print version, which opens in a new browser window. You should print this for your records, and for forwarding to your supplies/orders department if necessary.
Note: delivery charges and VAT are not shown on the order. These will be charged as appropriate.
